The Low Maintenance Benefit of Vinyl Siding

Vinyl siding is very easy to maintain, and without a doubt, low maintenance is the number one reason for its popularity. Normally, your KP® Vinyl Siding can be cleaned satisfactorily using an ordinary garden hose and a soft bristle brush. Remove stubborn spots with a solution of 1/3 cup of household detergent, 2/3 cup of trisodium phosphate and a gallon (4 quarts) of water. If you have mold or mildew on your vinyl, you can substitute one quart of bleach for one quart of water in the solution above. Never use a stiff bristle brush.
